An outsider, as I feel I am, is much enlightened by your website and I thank you for it. Nevertheless, without second guessing our diplomatic core and the Administration, I think of the innocent lives that are lost to “collateral damage”. The U.S. forces must pull-out now as, I believe, our objectives have been accomplished. Osama Bin Laden is dead. We must prevent Taliban threats at Home and not pursue enemies abroad unless they directly threaten our Allies. We do not have a right to invade a foreign country nor to direct its policies; we must execute our objectives successfully then leave ensuring that our wake establishes continued safety for our nationals and that of our Allies.

Life goes on…
We’re drawing closer toward a major election (federal/state/local). Will the country decide we must have a new president and change course or continue on with the incumbent? President Obama’s administration has been filled with deep valleys since before he assumed office and his greatest achievement, with Congress’s help, has been the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and ancillary legislation. Much has been said against it but we continue moving forward to ensure that there is some form of universal health coverage for every American.

Three cheers for the people of Egypt! Now, they must progress to an orderly adoption of the rule of law and equality before the law for every Egyptian! The rights of women and minors must also be upheld. Good luck to them and their new found freedoms!
